What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of individual contributors to foster their professional growth.
• Contribute directly to the code, design, and architecture of the Atlas Clusters systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product roadmap and offerings.
• Resolve critical customer issues and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Establish codebase best practices and design principles within the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Proven track record of leading teams building large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Proficiency in compiled languages such as Go, Java, or C#.
• Experience with streaming architectures and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience deploying software to a fleet of VMs.
