What you will do

• Lead and mentor the mobile platform team, prioritizing initiatives that enable product teams to operate more efficiently.
• Define and uphold engineering standards for mobile security, observability, performance, and release quality.
• Develop and maintain shared mobile platform capabilities using React Native and TypeScript.
• Drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines, build reliability, and deployment workflows.
• Own platform-level observability and crash reporting using tools like Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or Datadog.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to evolve shared UI components and the mobile design system.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in mobile engineering, with significant time in Tech Lead, Staff, or Principal roles.
• 4+ years of production experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• 4+ years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or Java).
• Proven experience owning and improving CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, including React Native bridges and native modules.
• Experience leading a mobile platform team and driving adoption of new tools and standards.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated product environments.
• Deep expertise in native mobile development beyond basic maintenance.
• Experience evaluating or supporting React Native tooling evolution, such as Expo.
• Background in secure mobile development or mobile security-focused work.
