Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK). Minimum 50% of working time per month spent in the office

What you will do

• Engage in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support.
• Develop and test features as part of a collaborative, distributed team.
• Iteratively improve the product while aligning with established design and architectural principles.
• Implement automated testing and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate across specialisms to deliver features, occasionally working with technologies outside your core competency.

Requirements

• Excellent programming and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software design patterns and paradigms such as OOAD, DDD, MVC, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
• Experience in creating performant, scalable, and secure code.
• Strong sense of ownership to clear roadblocks and drive tasks to completion.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the Manchester office for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Knowledge of Firebase, Riverpod with Hooks, Provider, and Deeplinking.
• Experience with gRPC/proto, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• Background in Investment or Pensions platforms.
