TL;DR

Senior Analyst - CIB Modelling: Develop, maintain, and validate Probability of Default (PD) models for Corporate & Institutional Banking with an accent on regulatory capital, impairment, and credit decisions. Focus on statistical modelling techniques, data manipulation, and stakeholder communication to ensure model performance and governance.

Location: Hybrid in Leeds, Bristol or Edinburgh (at least 2 days per week or 40% time in office)

Salary: £53,073 - £58,970

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver PD models to meet regulatory and internal requirements, supporting model validations.
• Build relationships with business partners to understand needs and create modelling solutions.
• Own end-to-end projects, managing governance, presenting to stakeholders, and gaining approvals.
• Provide quantitative support to team members and partners.
• Contribute to team development, sharing knowledge and fostering positive culture.

Requirements

• Degree in numerate subject or equivalent, or 2+ years quantitative experience
• 2+ years experience with programming (Python, SAS, SQL) for data manipulation
• Knowledge of statistical credit-risk modelling techniques (training provided)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Well-organised, proactive, and adaptable to priorities
