Location: London (Hybrid working: at least two days per week or 40% of time at office site)

Salary range: £107,304 - £126,240

What you will do

• Build and implement go-to-market strategy across payments products suite
• Develop commercially compelling propositions backed by robust business cases
• Drive revenue growth, especially for institutional clients
• Influence investment decisions and secure executive sponsorship for product changes
• Represent the bank in regulated clients, fintechs, industry bodies, and payments ecosystem
• Translate market, regulatory, and competitive developments into product roadmaps and investment cases
• Partner with product teams, coverage, sales, finance, platforms, and engineers to deliver strategic outcomes
• Support, mentor, and lead high-performing payments product team

Requirements

• 10-15+ years extensive understanding of domestic/international payment systems, settlement models, and standards (FPS, CHAPS, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022)
• Strong experience in digital payments channels including APIs and host-to-host models
• Proven product leadership in payments, preferably for fintech or institutional banking clients
• Detailed knowledge of UK regulatory environment and banking practices impacting client requirements
• Outstanding critical thinking, structured problem-solving, analytical ability, communication, and stakeholder influence
• Ability to deliver through teams, operate at pace with ambiguity, and maintain high integrity
