TL;DR

Internship Data & Analytics - Front-End Dashboarding (Looker): Gain hands-on experience developing interactive visualizations and supporting data transformation with an accent on Looker semantic layer, dbt models, and troubleshooting data issues. Focus on building LookML views and Explores, deploying data marts, and documenting models in a retail data stack.

Location: Hilversum, Netherlands (hybrid: 60/40 office/WFH, up to 2 days WFH per week). EU citizen, Family/Partner visa, or non-EU student studying in Netherlands (mandatory internship or Nuffic Agreement required per Dutch law).

Salary: 450€ per month (gross).

What you will do

• Gain hands-on experience building interactive visualizations in Looker.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and support Data Analysts and business users.
• Assist in developing and maintaining LookML semantic layer (views, Explores).
• Contribute to dbt models: develop, test, deploy data transformations.
• Write documentation for data models and transformations.
• Learn and contribute using dbt, Looker, Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management or related.
• Strong understanding of data management: warehousing, modeling, governance.
• Experience with SQL and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform ideal).
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn in fast-paced environment.
• Available 5 months starting September 2026; enrolled in school/university full duration.
• English for working with staff and reporting.

• Exposure to data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
