What you will do

• Take full ownership of backend features designed for performance, reliability, and observability.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and services for rapid experimentation and user segmentation.
• Manage integrations and service-to-service communication in polyglot architecture.
• Use AI coding assistants to automate documentation, generate unit tests, and maintain high development velocity.
• Monitor system health with observability tools to protect core stability during experiments.
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend engineers for contract alignment and seamless deployments.

Requirements

• Based in Buenos Aires region with office presence 1-2 days a week
• High-velocity senior engineering experience in Python environments.
• Hands-on with Django, including ORM optimisation and secure authentication.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for complex data management.
• CI/CD expertise treating deployment pipeline as product core.
• Strong analytical skills to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP primary).
• Knowledge of microservices and backend-for-frontend design.
