What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines for structured, semi-structured, unstructured, and multi-modal data, ensuring AI-readiness, governance, and security.
• Build retrieval infrastructure including vector storage, embedding pipelines, hybrid search, and graph-based knowledge representations.
• Develop agent memory systems and pipelines for AI observability signals like tracing, feedback, and evaluation data.
• Apply data quality frameworks, monitoring, and testing in production pipelines with governance and access controls.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI data pipelines for reliability, performance, and cost.
• Lead platform evolution by defining contracts between AI services and data systems to improve developer experience.

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with end-to-end ownership of maintainable systems.
• Production experience with distributed systems, async workflows, and data pipelines for AI (embeddings, RAG, feedback processing).
• Experience with vector databases, search systems, graph storage, agent frameworks, and observability data.
• Cloud experience on AWS (storage, messaging, orchestration) and infrastructure as code (CDK preferred).
• Collaboration skills for mentoring and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• JVM data processing (Java/Kotlin/Scala) with Spark.
• Schema evolution, data contracts, and pipeline reliability patterns (DLQ, reconciliation).
• IaC experience (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
