What you will do

• Develop firmware for new and existing camera-centric IoT devices.
• Optimize device performance metrics like battery life, boot time, and latency.
• Add significant new features and integrate with new hardware and software services.
• Manage personal backlog, prioritize issues, and dive deep into technical problems.
• Collaborate with partners, colleagues, and teams on difficult problems.

Requirements

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience contributing to architecture and design of systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Programming experience with modern languages like Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Professional non-internship software development experience in the last 3 years.
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full software development life cycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).
