What you will do

• Drive modernization of identity, access, and authorization across platform systems.
• Lead architecture and development of scalable, reliable backend services.
• Design APIs and event-driven workflows for service and product communication.
• Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and guidance to engineering team.
• Build and maintain services using TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js with strong testing.
• Apply AWS services to create performant distributed systems and partner with teams on business goals.
• Champion security, testing, CI/CD, observability, and service ownership practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience designing and scaling distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Deep knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, RBAC/ABAC) and modernizing identity systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Aurora, Firestore).
• Proven RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, AWS, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, testing discipline.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring ability.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with SST or serverless frameworks.
• Familiarity with event-driven/asynchronous patterns, Docker, Kubernetes, Zod.
• Agile environment and cross-team standards contribution.
