What you will do

• Design and implement scalable core platform services integrated into the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, Architecture, and DevOps to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Maintain end-to-end code quality using Developer-Led Testing (DLT), including unit, integration, and e2e tests.
• Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code/Cursor) for feature implementation and refactoring.
• Deploy and troubleshoot software solutions to ensure system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
• Ability to design RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Solid understanding of system design for scalability and observability.
• Must be based in Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, NodeJS, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with AI coding tools.
