Salary: $122,400 - $183,600 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and release new cardiac rhythm management software products and design changes.
• Plan and lead Design for Reliability (DfR) activities to drive product safety and reduce complaints.
• Evaluate designs for potential failure modes, assess hazards, and implement appropriate risk controls.
• Define reliability requirements, lead demonstration strategies, and recommend design updates to achieve reliability goals.
• Work with the CE Mark Renewal team to ensure continued product availability across multiple geographies.
• Perform engineering reviews of quality records and advocate for reliability in design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience (or 2 years with an advanced degree).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at the time of hire (sponsorship is only available for Principal-level roles and above).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in technologies such as C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, Python, Angular, or Xamarin.
• Experience in software design for highly regulated industries, preferably implantable medical devices.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304 / 82304.
• Experience with SDLC, Design for Reliability (DfR), and robust design practices like DFSS or DFLS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence outcomes within cross-functional teams.
