Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the architecture design, development, and deployment of critical infrastructure for government satellite programs.
• Serve as the primary customer interface for coordinating and deploying ground infrastructure.
• Manage and expand network interconnections, co-location sites, and satellite ground stations.
• Manage network infrastructure and deployments within classified data centers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering resources to optimize Starshield network design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of networking experience.
• Professional Layer-1 experience, including transport, DWDM, optical fiber, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience bringing up switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR regulations.
• Willingness to pursue and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience with Internet services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and BRAS.
• Prior experience with hardware deployments in classified environments.
