What you will do

• Lead client engagements from planning through completion, managing project execution and budgets.
• Supervise, train, and mentor senior associates, associates, and interns, assessing their performance.
• Conduct primary reviews of form 1120S returns and ASC 740 income tax provision engagements.
• Research and consult on complex tax matters and respond to inquiries from IRS and other tax authorities.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to provide additional services to existing and potential clients.
• Collaborate with specialists and the Washington National Tax Office to support all client tax functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA or JD/active law license required.
• 4–7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes and US GAAP.
• Must be based in Appleton or Milwaukee, WI, to meet hybrid office requirements.
• Exceptional client service, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision.
