TL;DR
Senior Developer, Enterprise AI (AI): Building and evolving internal AI systems and platforms with an accent on reliable, secure, and scalable AI-enabled workflows. Focus on integrating LLM orchestration with internal data, designing production-grade AI solutions, and optimizing developer tooling.
Location: Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec). Candidates local to Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto are expected to be in office minimum twice per week on Anchor Days.
Salary: $149,600 – $202,400 CAD

What you will do
- Design and maintain AI-enabled workflows, services, and applications integrated with internal data systems.
- Implement solutions using modern AI platforms, including LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, and retrieval systems.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering on data modeling, classification, and metadata management using Databricks and dbt.
- Develop developer accelerator tooling, such as standardized tool calling and MCP server configuration.
- Ensure AI solutions are observable, secure, and cost-efficient with clear operational ownership.
- Act as a technical mentor to the Enterprise AI team to raise engineering quality and delivery standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI systems development.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and Python with experience building cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Databricks, and dbt.
- Experience with LLM-powered systems, including prompt design, orchestration, and model integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be located in Canada (excluding Quebec).
