What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM dry etch tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents.
• Evaluate tool performance using SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software.
• Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure operational success of the area.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers on upgrades and work with process technicians on wafer recoveries.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (or 7+ years of NXP experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
• Ability to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
• Strong analytical problem solving and testing skills.
