What you will do

• Author definitive technical frameworks for modern authentication flows, granular authorization, and secure session management.
• Lead the implementation of industry standards and pioneer frameworks for Agentic Identity to secure autonomous agents.
• Oversee sensitive pathways including Key Management, mTLS, and Token Exchange services to ensure high-concurrency resilience.
• Harmonize identity lifecycles across diverse products such as Core, Slack, Tableau, and Agentforce.
• Define the "North Star" strategic roadmap for Zero-Trust, Verifiable Credentials, and Agentic Identity frameworks.
• Mentor senior architects and champion the integration of AI-augmented coding tools into the engineering culture.

Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering massive, sophisticated Identity and Security projects at global scale.
• Expert-level mastery of the modern identity stack, specifically deep-tier Authentication and Authorization patterns.
• Ability to balance immediate feature delivery with long-term platform health and architectural integrity.
• Strong technical diplomacy and the ability to align cross-functional engineering domains with senior leadership.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA
