Simulator Technician

Focus on diagnosing complex deficiencies, executing aircraft validation tests, and maintaining configuration control within C/Unix and Windows environments.

What you will do

• Provide real-time technical support for flight simulators via phone and on-site.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and pre-flight tests.
• Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies and replace defective components.
• Perform aircraft validation tests (QTG) and manage system backups.
• Maintain and document configuration control for hardware and software elements.
• Collaborate on projects to improve training center operations.

Requirements

• DEC in Electronic, Computer Science, Aircraft Maintenance, or equivalent.
• Experience in software and electronic modification or manipulation.
• Familiarity with electronic theory, principles, and testing equipment.
• English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to interpret electrical and electro-mechanical drawings.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global software (hirify.globalLIB, STARTEAM, SIM XXI architecture).
• Understanding of hardware/software interactions in aviation simulation.
• Aeronautical knowledge including avionics, flight dynamics, and aircraft systems.
