What you will do

• Set technical direction for AI/ML capabilities, defining what and how to build in alignment with product roadmap.
• Own end-to-end quality strategy for ML systems, incorporating privacy, bias, security, and maintainability.
• Act as force multiplier: build reusable platform capabilities, mentor engineers, shape hiring and growth of ML talent.
• Identify and champion new AI/ML product opportunities, translating clinical and product objectives into high-impact capabilities.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in ML techniques (Transformer-based NLP, Deep Learning, Tree-based methods, Bayesian modelling) with judgment for practical solutions.
• Proven track record taking models from experiment to production (data versioning, training pipelines, model serving, monitoring).
• Experience setting technical direction, build-vs-buy decisions, influencing roadmaps.
• Mastery of production-grade language (Python, C#, Go) with focus on extensible, modular system design.
• Natural mentor and communicator for diverse audiences from IC engineers to executives.
