What you will do

• Develop and deploy machine learning models, ensuring research is translated into scalable, production-ready code.
• Optimize models for latency, accuracy, and cost-efficiency in a high-load environment.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI approaches into the existing ML stack.
• Define and enforce best practices for code quality, model lifecycle management, and MLOps.
• Mentor engineering team members and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Co-define the long-term technical vision for AI and machine learning initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the modern machine learning stack, including contemporary transformer architectures.
• Expertise in distributed training techniques and model inference optimization strategies.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying ML models at scale.
• Proficiency in Python and major frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong grasp of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in or able to commute to London for a hybrid working arrangement.

• Practical experience with speech-to-text or text-to-speech technologies.
