What you will do

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Ops Specialists and Risk Prevention Managers, conducting performance reviews and goal setting.
• Take ownership of billing performance indicators, including global approval rates, chargeback ratios, and fraud rates.
• Oversee the implementation of scalable operational processes, including advanced routing, cascading logic, and retry strategies.
• Collaborate with Risk Prevention Managers to refine anti-fraud rules and balance conversion with security.
• Manage high-level communication and negotiate terms with international payment providers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to align payment capabilities with business growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in online payments (Risk Prevention, Ops) with a proven track record in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Advanced understanding of payment funnels, including SCA and PayPal specialties.
• Solid expertise in risk management, fraud prevention techniques, and chargeback management.
• Strong data proficiency with advanced Excel skills for interpreting complex transactional data sets.
• Experience managing relationships with international payment partners and executive stakeholders.
• English: Upper-Intermediate proficiency required

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Experience working within the subscriptions industry.
• Ability to interpret technical logs and API documentation.
