Location: Must be based in Ukraine (Kyiv preferred; remote/hybrid options available)

What you will do

  • Lead HR activities for organizational restructuring and integrate the acquired bank into a modern international operating model.
  • Drive cultural transformation aligned with EU business practices, focusing on transparency, accountability, and performance.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Review and optimize HR processes, policies, and documentation while ensuring compliance with Ukrainian labor law.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for key roles, with a strong focus on IT and fintech profiles.
  • Develop skills matrices and competency frameworks to support workforce optimization and talent decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of independent HR experience, preferably in organizational restructuring or post-M&A environments.
  • Strong understanding of banking, fintech, or EMI environments, including experience with technical departments.
  • Solid knowledge of Ukrainian labor law and modern EU workplace standards.
  • Fluent English (C1/C2) and Ukrainian are mandatory.
  • Proven experience in workforce assessment, competency mapping, and evaluating skill gaps.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments and manage global stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in the Polish language.
  • Experience working in international environments with global stakeholders.
