TL;DR

Senior Security Compliance Engineer (Cybersecurity): Designing and scaling privacy-aware and compliance systems across a global technology organization with an accent on privacy by design, regulatory requirements, and automation. Focus on building tools in Python and Temporal to support data subject rights and data lifecycle management.

Location: Hybrid (Barcelona, Spain) - 2 days a week from the hub

What you will do

• Embed privacy by design into product, platform, and operational workflows.
• Design and build privacy engineering capabilities for data subject rights and lifecycle management.
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into technical implementation guidance.
• Develop tools, services, and automations using Python and Temporal.
• Operate secure and scalable privacy systems within AWS environments.
• Conduct privacy assessments and design technical controls to reduce risk.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Barcelona, Spain (2 days/week in office).
• 5+ years of experience in information security, privacy, or compliance.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and experience with AWS.
• Strong background in software engineering, backend systems, or data architecture.
• Knowledge of GDPR and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.

Nice to have

• Experience with DSR, DSAR, or privacy operations platforms.
• Graduate-level study in privacy engineering.
• Experience in gaming or consumer technology.
• Certifications such as CIPT, CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or FAIR.
