What you will do

• Lead the development of fraud prediction models using tabular, graph, and behavioral data.
• Build and scale feature pipelines and training datasets using proprietary and third-party signals.
• Prototype new modeling ideas, run offline experiments, and drive the best-performing approaches into production.
• Productionize models by integrating them into batch and real-time decision systems to improve reliability and latency.
• Instrument and monitor model and data health, defining retraining and backtesting workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Fraud Analytics, and Product teams to define requirements and communicate results.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience researching, training, tuning, and launching ML models at scale (PhD can count for 2 years).
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact ML models in low-latency live settings.
• Strong Python skills and experience writing production-quality code.
• Experience with tabular classification problems (e.g., LightGBM, XGBoost, CatBoost).
• Experience with PyTorch and distributed data processing frameworks like Spark, Ray, or Dask.
• Proficiency with ML lifecycle tooling such as Kubeflow, Airflow, or MLflow.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in using AI-powered developer tools like Claude Code or Cursor to accelerate development.
