TL;DR
Product Owner (HRTech): Translating requirements into clear user stories and managing the team backlog for background screening solutions with an accent on functional clarity and delivery coordination. Focus on bridging the gap between stakeholders and engineering, designing user workflows, and optimizing delivery efficiency in a high-change environment.
Location: Hybrid (Krakow, Poland). Must be within commuting distance to the Poland Office (Expectation is 2-3 days in the office per week).

What you will do
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with delivery goals.
- Write high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and lead backlog refinement sessions.
- Coordinate with developers, QA, and the Scrum Master to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Create and maintain process maps, workflow documentation, and functional diagrams for user journeys.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Perform intermediate analytical work using Excel and usage data to support backlog decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be within commuting distance to the Poland Office.
- Moderately technical understanding of APIs, service interactions, and functional data flows.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Work Items, backlogs, sprints).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with API concepts and integration patterns.
- Experience contributing to or managing internal operational tooling.
- General UX awareness, including user flow and usability principles.
- Broader data literacy and comfort supporting operational reporting.
