What you will do

• Develop CAD drawings and technical documentation based on project specifications and engineer direction.
• Produce detailed layouts, floorplans, system diagrams, and installation calculations using standardized tools.
• Collaborate with designers and project teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Respond to technical questions and support internal stakeholders with design-related requests.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to established drafting standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2023 or newer) for technical drafting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Professional communication skills for effective internal collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and life-safety design principles.
• Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and schematics.
