TL;DR
Senior Product Designer (Fintech): Shaping digital insurance experiences and leading design initiatives from discovery to delivery with an accent on user-centered, evidence-led design. Location: Hybrid: 2 days per week in the Cardiff office (UK)

What you will do
- Lead design across product and communication experiences, from user flow mapping and wireframing to final interface design.
- Champion a user-centered, evidence-led approach by collaborating with researchers and analysts to validate ideas.
- Contribute to the evolution of the design system, maintaining accessible and scalable patterns.
- Facilitate design sprints and workshops to align cross-functional teams on problem-solving.
- Mentor junior designers, sharing frameworks and feedback to improve overall team capability.
- Balance business and user goals, effectively prioritizing and communicating rationale to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing user-centered digital products, ideally in regulated domains like finance or insurance.
- Expertise in UX/UI, design systems, accessibility, and interaction design principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma for component design and interactive prototyping.
- Experience running user research, including surveys, usability testing, and analytics review.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Cardiff office (2 days per week).
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions to senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with form design and conversion flows.
- Knowledge of behavioral insight techniques.
