What you will do
- Lead and inspire the production team to deliver high-quality recorded content across multiple media platforms.
- Produce audio recordings for radio, television, and streaming, serving as the primary liaison for Radio 3.
- Oversee editorial compliance and sign off all broadcast material in accordance with Editorial and Legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior artistic staff to evaluate visiting artists and conductors and provide feedback to musicians.
- Drive innovation in content production to enhance the orchestra's recording quality and working practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in producing classical recordings with strong knowledge of current techniques and technologies.
- Expertise in planning and delivering multiple complex projects under pressure.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Must be based in or able to work from Salford, UK.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Strong digital and music editing skills using modern editing systems.
- Experience shaping audio content through scripts, interviews, and collaborative programming.
- Experience with spatial audio, non-classical artists, and recording in unconventional venues.
- Commercial recording expertise, including familiarity with click track recording.
