Location: Hybrid in London office (NW1 2PL, GB), subject to production demands and shoots. Some out-of-London travel and out-of-hours work may be required.

What you will do

• Manage technical capture of audio and visuals for podcasts, branded segments, and episodes, including hands-on camera operation, sound recording, lighting, set up/pack down, and studio management.
• Deliver technical requirements aligned with editorial direction, developing visual and technical playbooks with producers and designers.
• Supervise freelance operators and technicians, support staff induction, and potentially line manage as department grows.
• Edit long-form video, short-form promos, trailers, and teasers, handling mixing, grading, and final delivery.
• Handle asset delivery and publication to video/audio platforms, manage kit maintenance, PAT testing, and safety on shoots.
• Collaborate with Head of Production on new technical workflows and solutions.

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in audio/video production and editing, especially Adobe Premiere, with attention to detail.
• Strong shot composition, lighting skills, familiarity with cameras/lenses, and color grading.
• Effective communication, positive with talent, solutions-oriented problem solver in fast-paced teams.
• Curiosity for new technologies and passion for podcasts and visualised podcasts.
• Thrives in multi-project environments maintaining excellence.

Nice to have

• Studio and location shoot experience.
• Understanding of shoot safety requirements.
• Familiarity with podcast platforms like YouTube and Spotify.
• Microsoft Office skills.
