What you will do

• Support FinOps processes including cost allocation, tagging/chargeback/showback, anomaly investigation, and optimisation tracking.
• Produce and improve TBM reporting, translating technology costs into services/products and outcomes.
• Assist with month-end activities, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for technology spend.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI/Excel, enhancing data quality and automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance stakeholders to explain spend drivers and efficiency opportunities.
• Create documentation for reporting, definitions, and processes; take ownership of specific areas as confidence grows.

Requirements

• 2:1 degree or above in numerate/analytical discipline (Business, Economics, Finance, STEM) or equivalent
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Confidence with Excel data work (interest in Power BI, Apptio)
• Clear communication to explain data/insights to non-technical audiences
• Collaborative mindset for working with technology, finance, and business stakeholders
• Interest in cloud/technology cost management or measuring technology value

Nice to have

• Awareness of Azure/AWS cost concepts, dashboards, SQL, or basic scripting
