Junior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Junior DevOps Engineer (Salesforce/DevSecOps): Designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce platform with an accent on automation, multi-environment management, and security integration. Focus on implementing observability tools, zero-trust security strategies, and continuous workflow improvements to ensure reliable deployments.

Location: Fully remote operating within the Eastern time zone (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET). Must pass U.S. public trust clearance: U.S. citizen or lived in the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years with valid passport and VISA/work permit. Occasional travel (<5%).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development and metadata deployments across multiple environments (dev, testing, UAT, staging, production).
• Configure quality gates, code reviews, security scans, and automation scripts to reduce manual work.
• Manage releases, backups, restores, monitoring, alerting, and incident response in coordination with dev, QA, and business teams.
• Implement observability tools, security controls, and infrastructure-as-code for zero-trust and least-privilege access.
• Document processes, provide technical support, training, and lead continuous improvements to workflows.

Requirements

• U.S. public trust clearance eligibility: U.S. citizen or 3/5 years U.S. residency with valid passport/VISA.
• Bachelor’s in CS, IS, Engineering, or related (or 4+ years IT + 2 years specialized experience).
• 2+ years DevSecOps with cloud architecture, CI/CD, release management, security tools, multi-environment management.
• Experience with monitoring/observability, log aggregation, Data Deploy, Data Loader.
• Knowledge of Salesforce: Apex, Visualforce, LWC, APIs, declarative tools, testing frameworks.
• IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), config management (Ansible).

Nice to have

• DevSecOps Fundamentals I/II certifications.
• Certified Administrator.
• AWS Cloud familiarity.
