What you will do

• Manage cloud security posture through IAM, RBAC, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
• Develop and maintain cloud security policy frameworks aligned with NIST 800-53.
• Perform daily operational security management, including policy tuning and misconfiguration correction.
• Serve as a security reviewer for changes to cloud identities, permissions, and configurations.
• Design and manage VPC security, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and cloud-native firewalls.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering and DCO teams to ensure secure operational outcomes.

Requirements

• DoD TS/SCI clearance required
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification required
• Professional experience based on degree: Min 12 years (HS), 10 years (AS/AA), 8 years (BS/BA), 6 years (MS/MA), or 3 years (PhD).
• Experience with IAM, RBAC, and cloud access models.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and cloud security standards.

Nice to have

• Experience managing policy lifecycles in cloud environments.
• Understanding of cloud telemetry and its role in detection.
• Ability to implement compensating controls in cloud environments.
