What you will do

• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for opto-mechanical assemblies.
• Lead NPI transition from development to production, providing DFM and DFT support.
• Define and implement PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
• Perform process capability analysis (Cp/Cpk), SPC, and GR&R studies.
• Conduct root cause investigations (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) to drive yield improvement and scrap reduction.
• Collaborate with CMs and suppliers to ensure process stability and automotive compliance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Optics.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven hands-on experience with automated opto-mechanical assembly (Pick-and-place, adhesive dispensing).
• Experience with PnP machines, specifically BESI or Datacon platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SPC, statistical analysis, and process validation methodologies.
• Experience in mass-production and clean room manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IATF 16949 automotive or high-reliability standards.
• Experience with reliability testing including thermal cycling, humidity, and vibration.
• Familiarity with JMP, advanced Excel, or SolidWorks.
