What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations and calibration of the electro-optics lab to ensure equipment readiness.
• Develop and maintain unified instrument-control software using Python or Matlab for automated measurements.
• Design and execute experiments to characterize optical components, defining measurement strategies and limits.
• Procure and qualify optical/electrical test equipment while ensuring strict adherence to laser safety requirements.
• Collaborate with global teams, specifically the US optical lab, to maintain process and tooling commonality.
• Analyze test results and produce detailed reports to guide product and tester improvements.

Requirements

• BSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in optical or electrical testing and development environments.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Matlab, and strong Excel skills for analysis.
• Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation and a deep understanding of measurement capabilities and limitations.
• English: Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and global collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to once every two months.
