TL;DR

Focus on analyzing complex organizational structures, performing in-depth risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure platform security.

What you will do

  • Perform complex EDD investigations on higher-risk customers, fundraisers, and organizations.
  • Assess and mitigate financial crime risks, including fraud, AML/CFT concerns, sanctions exposure, and PEPs.
  • Analyze transactional activity and patterns using internal systems and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
  • Document investigative findings clearly in case management systems to support audit and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Payments Risk, and Product teams to mitigate platform abuse.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality feedback to other analysts to maintain investigative consistency.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in payments, financial crime, compliance, or a related risk function.
  • Working knowledge of global Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) frameworks, AML/CFT, and sanctions screening.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to form reasoned conclusions from ambiguous data.
  • English: C1 proficiency required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or disturbing content and adapt to structured schedules, including occasional holiday shifts.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland in a remote or hybrid capacity.
