What you will do

• Develop positioning and control algorithms using Simulink and C++ for real-time hardware.
• Perform simulations to validate model development and create automated software tests.
• Write and maintain design documentation, models, and source code.
• Collaborate with Software Developers, Validation Engineers, and Product Managers to deploy software.
• Communicate design and analysis results to stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development for real-time embedded control systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and Simulink.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical processes and create workflow diagrams.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mossville, IL five days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with sensing technologies such as IMUs, GNSS, laser receivers, or UTS systems.
• Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Kalman Filters.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
