Salary: $147,000 – $203,000

What you will do

• Architect, design, and build new features for the Connectivity team, focusing on the interface between hardware and software.
• Develop the Bluetooth layer to enable efficient and secure communication between the hirify.global ring and the application.
• Collaborate closely with Firmware and Platform teams to ensure app consistency and stability.
• Prototype and integrate new iOS frameworks and methodologies to enhance productivity.
• Implement systems to ensure performant, maintainable apps as the product scales.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (excluding specific states mentioned in location).
• 5+ years of professional experience shipping iOS applications.
• Strong expertise in Swift, UIKit, and modern iOS app architectures.
• Experience with iOS CoreBluetooth and knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and standard code review workflows.
• Strong commitment to quality through unit and manual testing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Swift structured concurrency, Combine, SQLite/GRDB, CoreAnimation, or CoreGraphics.
• Experience with PyTorch or AI-related mobile implementation.
• Background in health, wellness, or fitness products.
• Experience working asynchronously across different countries and time zones.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
