What you will do

• Lead cloud cost optimization strategy across GCP, AWS, and on-prem infrastructure
• Analyze compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes usage for cost-saving opportunities
• Build forecasting models, dashboards, and automated reporting for cost visibility
• Develop tagging standards, budgeting processes, and governance policies
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and product on architecture and scaling decisions
• Drive FinOps practices like rightsizing, reservations, autoscaling, and create internal tooling for monitoring

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps with cost optimization focus
• Hands-on experience with GCP (priority) and AWS, including pricing models and cost tools
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge for resource allocation, autoscaling, and cost attribution
• Proficiency with cloud cost tools like GCP Billing, BigQuery, AWS CUR, Kubecost, CloudHealth
• Strong analytical skills for dashboards, SQL pipelines, and forecasting models
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders

• GCP/AWS Professional certifications
• FinOps Framework or Certified Practitioner
• Experience in gaming, SaaS, or multi-cloud environments
• Chargeback/showback models or multi-tenant architecture
• Terraform, Helm, GitOps for automation
• Background in data analytics or financial modeling
