What you will do

• Own full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, experimentation, and maintenance for high reliability and customer impact.
• Analyze success of new Search features through data-driven A/B experiments.
• Build and optimize data and model-serving pipelines for high-throughput, low-latency applications in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, and Science teams to deliver complex projects at scale.
• Participate in organization planning, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentor junior peers on Software and AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in professional software development and building complex software systems delivered to customers
• Experience contributing to architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and operational excellence
• Knowledge of cloud computing services and deployment architecture

Nice to have

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, architecture, training/inference, optimization, debugging, and profiling in large-scale systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills bridging product, science, and engineering
• Proficiency in online/offline experimentation, evaluation frameworks, and metrics for UX and ML systems
