TL;DR
Execution Zone Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing): Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for optimal manufacturing processes with an accent on assembly processes, line balancing, ergonomics, and process analysis. Focus on supporting tooling development, engineering changes, launch activities, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in automotive production environments.
Location: Onsite in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico. Expected to report to specific location on a full-time basis. Travel <25%. No immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits.

What you will do
- Support safety compliance, training, and observation tours.
- Develop and maintain process standards, METL content, and plant-specific TIS with suppliers.
- Collaborate in cross-functional events like PDT, CIT, and virtual builds to capture issues and lessons learned.
- Assist in tooling and equipment development, design reviews, and issue tracking.
- Support engineering changes, ECR execution, and documentation in e-Merge.
- Participate in launch, installation, startup, and validation activities.
- Maintain visual management tools like Zone Boards and prepare status reports.
- Interface with suppliers for plant walks, data collection, and containerization.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency for professional conversations.
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
- Minimum 3 years in automotive industry with assembly processes experience.
- Strong Industrial Engineering knowledge: line balancing, ergonomics, process analysis.
- Mechanical design proficiency with CAD software; ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience developing/optimizing manufacturing layouts.
