What you will do

• Own mobile platform architecture, making tradeoffs between React Native, JS/TS, and native code for performance and reliability.
• Design core systems like OTA, analytics, data persistence, auth, and VPN/geolocation primitives.
• Lead high-impact initiatives including large upgrades, migrations, and structural performance/stability improvements.
• Elevate developer experience through improved tooling, automation, patterns for navigation/state management, and push-button releases.
• Build AI-enabled platform by integrating LLMs into workflows for code scaffolding, pattern enforcement, and testing.
• Drive app health culture with metrics/dashboards and mentor engineers across Wallet Platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years building and scaling mobile apps, with ownership of production React Native or hybrid platforms.
• Prior Staff/Principal-level impact leading complex, cross-team technical initiatives.
• Deep expertise in React Native architecture, performance, debugging, and bridging to native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack).
• Strong experience with mobile CI/CD, release engineering, and OTA systems.
• Track record building internal platforms, shared libraries, or tooling; comfort in ambiguity and stakeholder alignment.
• Proven leadership in influencing technical direction, mentoring seniors, and shaping culture.
