What you will do

• Own core product areas end-to-end, from discovery and design through to deployment and customer adoption.
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services for document processing, data extraction, and agentic workflows.
• Build polished frontend experiences that make powerful AI capabilities intuitive and accessible to enterprise users.
• Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to translate real-world pain points into technical specifications.
• Leverage AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot to accelerate development workflows.
• Mentor other engineers and champion best practices in testing, observability, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills with a track record of shipping critical customer-facing features.
• Experience designing and building high-quality APIs, services, and distributed systems.
• Solid frontend skills and experience building polished, user-facing applications.
• Proven history of owning end-to-end product development in high-growth startups.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistance tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and container orchestration.
• Past experience in real estate, law, or finance domains.
• Background in event-driven architectures, streaming systems, and microservices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
