What you will do

• Develop cloud-based live and recorded video capabilities, covering ingestion, encoding, packaging, and delivery.
• Scale the infrastructure to handle an expanding fleet of LTE-connected cameras and 3rd party integrations.
• Design and implement robust, high-performance APIs.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to improve speed, resource usage, and API simplicity.
• Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and automated test suites.

Requirements

• Experience with video streaming technologies such as WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, and FFmpeg (libav).
• Proficiency in Go and TypeScript (Node) web services.
• Experience with AWS and cloud tooling, including Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification, which includes a fingerprint-based FBI background check.

Nice to have

• Experience with IVS, LiveKit, and orchestration.
