TL;DR

Software Engineer (Scala/TypeScript): Building and optimizing high-traffic web products for a global omnichannel advertising platform with an accent on performance, scalability, and low-latency system architecture. Focus on developing high-impact features, processing massive datasets in real-time, and ensuring system resiliency under heavy traffic.

Location: Montpellier, France. Hybrid work (2 days remote per week).

What you will do

  • Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to develop and deploy high-impact experiments and features.
  • Design, develop, test, and autonomously monitor code in production.
  • Work with Engineering and Product Managers to define project scopes and ensure execution.
  • Analyze business needs to provide relevant technical solutions for clients.
  • Research and propose new technologies and architectures to improve engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills with a focus on architecture, performance, and maintainability.
  • Experience with high-throughput distributed systems and processing large-scale data.
  • Analytical mindset and experience proving ideas via experimentation before full development.
  • Proven track record of shipping multiple software engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of production practices, including release management, observability, and troubleshooting.
  • English proficiency required (CV must be submitted in English).
