What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams through managers and senior leaders, setting standards for ownership, quality, and professionalism.
• Coach managers and engineers on leadership, decision-making, and team health to build a strong leadership bench.
• Align engineering work to business and customer outcomes, fostering an outcome-oriented mindset.
• Translate strategy into actionable priorities, managing risks, dependencies, and delivery across teams.
• Provide technical judgment on architecture and systems, ensuring decisions are intentional and aligned.
• Improve engineering practices, including adoption of agentic and AI-assisted development with clear guardrails.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years as software engineer building production systems.
• 4+ years managing multiple engineering teams, including engineering managers or senior leads.
• Strong understanding of modern software practices, architectures, system design, and tradeoffs.
• Experience with agentic SDLC tools and AI-assisted practices like specification-driven development.
• Experience leading agile teams in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar multi-team environments.
