What you will do

  • Partner with the Executive Board to set long-term financial goals and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Optimize capital, debt, and equity structure to maximize shareholder value.
  • Lead and inspire a finance team of 43 professionals across accounting, funding, and control.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for financial health in earnings calls and investor relations.
  • Oversee risk management, internal controls, and tax compliance across multiple countries.
  • Lead the company's sustainability strategy and ensure B Corp obligations are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in senior finance leadership within a listed scale-up or high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in capital-intensive sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or mobility.
  • Certification as RA, CPA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Deep expertise in FP&A, financial control, and treasury management.
  • Track record in funding and capital markets including bonds and institutional investment.
  • Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam, Netherlands
