What you will do

• Lead shift operations and coordinate response activities across the MDR SecOps team.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical escalation support for complex investigations.
• Oversee end-to-end analysis of sophisticated threats and drive technical decision-making during critical incidents.
• Lead threat hunting initiatives and collaborate with engineering to refine detection logic and reduce false positives.
• Develop and maintain internal playbooks, investigation methodologies, and technical documentation.
• Conduct in-depth malware analysis and provide technical briefings for high-severity client escalations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a SOC or advanced cybersecurity roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux internals, forensic artifacts, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Proven experience leading incident response efforts and conducting behavioral threat hunting.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Romania without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) in a 24/7/365 operation.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, or CISSP.
• Experience with macOS environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
