SOC Analyst (Shift Lead)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with required on-site office shifts. The role follows a 24/7 Panama shift schedule with 12-hour 2-2-3 rotations, monthly rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor, triage, investigate, and respond to phishing, malware, brand monitoring, and other cybersecurity detections.
• Lead shift operations and ensure consistent monitoring, investigation, and incident-handling practices.
• Escalate incidents to higher tiers according to defined procedures.
• Guide, support, and mentor the shift crew while reinforcing team standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subsidiary organizations to document and improve escalation and investigation procedures.
• Support incident response activities, including containment and eradication.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT Operations and/or Security Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working across multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of security principles, common attack types, and industry best practices.
• Availability for a 24/7 schedule including rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large, global, and complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IPS, WAF, email security, cloud security, or threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience working with IT and cybersecurity teams in a SOC, NOC, Incident Response, or Security Engineering environment.
