Summer Calibration Services Technician (Engineering)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Boston, MA (includes 80% local travel)

Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly

What you will do

• Perform field calibration of real-time indoor air quality sensors.
• Install and maintain continuous monitoring units at various client sites.
• Inspect and troubleshoot systems onsite using small hand tools to perform sensor repairs.
• Document all field activity and upload reports into the central system daily.
• Communicate unresolved issues encountered in the field to the team in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Greater Boston area and able to commute to client sites.
• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in science/tech, or an Associate’s degree in a science/tech field.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CORI certification with the State of Massachusetts.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a constant basis.
• Proficient English language skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or technology field of study.
• Experience in an environmental or industrial hygiene laboratory.
