What you will do

• Design and scale REST APIs and high-volume data processing pipelines across distributed systems.
• Architect backend services optimized for high throughput and low-latency performance.
• Develop data-intensive and event-driven applications using Python, Typescript, Spark, and AWS-native services.
• Optimize production workloads on Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and elevate engineering quality standards.
• Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Serverless Framework.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with a strong focus on Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Typescript and Node.js.
• Advanced expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Step Functions).
• Proven experience deploying and optimizing production workloads on Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with big data frameworks: Spark, Dask, EMR, Glue, or Kafka.
• English: Business-level proficiency required for cross-functional communication.
